Job summary

BINAS KAYAMAS SDN. BHD. is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to prepare BQs, cost estimates and project quotations. You will take-off quantities from drawings, verify measurements on-site and price materials, labour and subcontractor packages while maintaining a unit-rate data bank.

You will source supplier quotations, manage variation orders, track progress claims and produce cost reports for management. Regular site visits and coordination with the project team are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying or related field.
• 3–5 years' experience in renovation, commercial interior fit-out, or building works.
• Experience with F&B outlets, retail, offices or residential renovation is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Prepare BQs, cost estimates and project quotations.
• Take-off quantities from drawings and verify on-site measurements.
• Price materials, labour and subcontractor packages; maintain unit-rate data.
• Source and compare supplier quotations against project specs.
• Prepare variation orders and track progress claims.
• Maintain project cost reports and documentation.
• Coordinate with project managers, site supervisors and suppliers.
• Attend site inspections and verify progress against drawings.
