Job summary

Quintus Search is seeking a highly driven Senior Quality Manager to lead the Quality function for its two high-volume, high-mix RFID manufacturing plants in Johor, Malaysia. The role reports to the Site Managing Director / VP of Operations and oversees a quality team, shaping strategic and operational quality initiatives across the site.

You will implement Lean, Six Sigma, SPC and ISO-compliant quality systems, drive supplier development, and embed quality in NPI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Quality, Operations, or Engineering.
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt is highly desirable.
• Minimum 10 years of management experience in Quality/Process Excellence/Manufacturing.
• Experience in high-mix, high-volume environments within a multinational.
• Strong leadership, coaching, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Deep knowledge of QMS, TQM, 8D, SPC, and FMEA.
• Excellent English; Mandarin skills are beneficial.
• Willingness to travel internationally.

Responsibilities

• Define and deploy QA objectives and KPIs across two plants.
• Lead Lean, Six Sigma, 8D, and SPC to standardize SOPs.
• Drive supplier quality development and early QMS in NPI.
• Optimize COPQ through root cause analysis and preventive actions.
• Maintain ISO compliance and sustainability commitments.
• Establish site quality governance with monthly reviews.
• Coach and develop cross-functional quality teams.
