Job summary

Quintus Search in Malaysia is seeking a Production Manager based in Johor Bahru to lead and optimise the production department, driving continuous improvement in personnel, materials and capital efficiency on the production floor. You will coordinate production schedules, ensure product quality meets standards, and work with Planning, HR and QA to maintain safe, disciplined operations.

A strong background in manufacturing, lean, and ISO is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in an engineering field (manufacturing/industrial/mechanical).
• At least 10 years' experience in manufacturing/production operations.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Experience with lean manufacturing, ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the production department for efficiency and continuous improvement.
• Develop KPIs and monitor production output and schedule adherence.
• Ensure product quality meets standards and drive corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Planning, HR, IT, QA, and R&D as needed.
• Ensure safety and housekeeping on the line and report to Operations Director.
