You will negotiate terms, place purchase orders, monitor deliveries, coordinate with production, maintain records, and drive cost-saving improvements while ensuring policy compliance, working with cross-functional teams to meet production goals.

Qualifications

• Degree holder with minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities for optimising purchasing decisions.
• Team player capable of working with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Identify and source the most suitable suppliers for raw materials and production supplies.
• Negotiate favourable pricing and terms with suppliers.
• Place purchase orders, track deliveries, and manage inventory levels to prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
• Collaborate with production to forecast demand and plan procurement activities.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and prepare reports.
• Identify opportunities to improve purchasing processes and cost-saving measures.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies and procedures.
