Job summary

Hup Fatt Brothers Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a Purchasing Executive in Malaysia to maintain supplier data, negotiate contracts, and procure raw materials with quality and cost targets. You will collaborate with Project Engineers to localize materials and reduce lead times.

Responsibilities include ensuring data accuracy for timely reporting, and working with the Quality Assurance team to secure high-quality products and services.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Required language(s): Bahasa Malaysia, English
• Good interpersonal skills and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and monitor supplier/vendor data to ensure the accuracy and reliability of records.
• Source suppliers, negotiate contracts for optimal pricing, and procure raw materials by fulfilling quality standards and meeting projected quantity requirements.
• Collaborate with Project Engineers to identify opportunities for localizing raw materials, reducing lead times, and optimizing procurement costs.
• Prepare, manage, and ensure the accuracy of up-to-date data to facilitate timely and precise reporting and documentation.
• Collaborate with the quality assurance team to ensure the procurement of high-quality products and services.
