Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years’ relevant working experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with proven negotiation skills.
• Good interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Purchase goods or services in line with specified cost, quality and delivery targets.
• Ensure all purchases are in compliance to Purchasing SOP and Company Directives.
• Check completion and authorization of all Purchase Requests and Purchase Orders and that the right expense code number are utilized.
• Supply Chain Management: Responsible for supplier assessment and management, ensuring continuous supply to meet production and market demands while reducing inventory and regularly monitor stocks supplies to ensure adequate supply at all times for a smooth operation.
• Cost Analysis and Control: Responsible for analyzing purchase cost structures, identifying opportunities for cost reduction, and formulating effective cost control strategies.
