Job summary

Benchmark Electronics IPO Division seeks a seasoned Purchasing Manager to lead procurement and strategic purchasing initiatives in Bayan Lepas Penang. You will optimize supply chain, drive cost efficiency, and ensure timely material delivery to support manufacturing operations.

Ideal candidates will have 7+ years in commodity purchasing, 3 years in leadership, and strong ERP proficiency, with excellent communication, analytical, and planning skills. This role is full-time and on-site in Penang.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in commodity purchasing/planning; 3 years in a leadership role.
• Understanding of ERP tools such as MAPICS, Baan or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Oversee procurement of materials to support product lines and MRO supplies.
• Develop plans to acquire components, subassemblies and equipment per Company policies.
• Negotiate purchase orders within authorized limits and monitor PO administration.
