Job summary

HID is seeking a Purchasing Executive in Johor, Malaysia to support daily purchasing activities and help achieve company objectives. You will generate POs, coordinate with internal teams and suppliers for Just-In-Time delivery, and source indirect materials and services while maintaining optimal inventory levels.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree with at least 4 years of purchasing experience, and demonstrates integrity, assertiveness and honesty to uphold HID's standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 4 years' experience in procurement or related fields.
• High level of integrity, assertive, honest.

Responsibilities

• Generate Purchase Orders to suppliers after vetting requisitions.
• Coordinate with internal customers, warehouse, and suppliers for JIT delivery.
• Source and purchase indirect materials, stationery, hardware and services.
• Negotiate best commercial terms for indirect purchasing and manage contracts.
• Convert requisitions to purchase orders and issue to suppliers.
• Ensure maintenance of inventory and avoid over-stocking, manage stock levels.
• Handle import shipments and ensure all required documentation.
