Job summary

HID Global Malaysia is seeking a Purchasing Executive to support the Purchasing HOD in daily operations and help achieve company objectives. You will coordinate with internal teams and suppliers to ensure timely material availability and compliant procurement processes.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree and at least 4 years of procurement experience, with English and Mandarin language skills. Oracle experience and MS Office proficiency are preferred, in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in any discipline.
• Minimum 4 years' working experience in procurement-related roles.
• High level of integrity, assertive, honest.

Responsibilities

• Generate purchase orders after requisitions are approved.
• Coordinate daily with internal customers, warehouse and suppliers on JIT deliveries.
• Source indirect materials, stationery, hardware and services.
• Support PR/Fixed asset/Petty cash purchases as requested by internal team.
• Negotiate pricing and terms for fixed rate purchases and for single sourced materials.
• Issue RFQs and select approved vendors with best terms.
• Convert requisitions to purchase orders and distribute to suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with planners on demand.
