Job summary

GE Vernova in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Project Sourcing Leader to drive end-to-end sourcing for PES CM&U projects, covering standard and complex initiatives. You will lead sourcing from ITO to OTR, collaborate with Sales, PMO and site teams, and ensure on-time, high-quality delivery while achieving cost-saving targets.

Required is a strong background in Mechanical/Energy sourcing, at least 5 years, with excellent communication, leadership, and a readiness to travel up to 20%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Technical, Supply Chain management or Engineering.
• MBA is favorable for strategic leadership roles.
• Minimum 5 years in Mechanical/Energy Industry Sourcing/Procurement.
• Strong customer service, communications, leadership and attention to detail.
• Willingness to travel up to 20%.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier and sourcing strategy, drive optimized project sourcing solutions.
• Manage end-to-end project sourcing from ITO to OTR with cross-functional teams.
• Negotiate spend, implement bundle-buy strategies and target cost savings.
• Coordinate with PMO, Sales, and site teams for on-time, quality project delivery.
• Mitigate supply risks and drive process improvements across sourcing workflows.
• Support compliance, documentation and standardization across PES business.

Education
