Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Project Sourcing Manager to lead the configured systems procurement for major MSD, BOP and HRSG equipment on Asia projects. The role reports to the Project Director/PM and acts as the sourcing lead within the project team, coordinating across sub-functions and driving timely procurement decisions.

Responsibilities include managing the sourcing scope from Gate 2 to COD, optimizing the purchasing strategy, and supporting tendering with budget inputs and costings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Proven experience in Sourcing and Procurement Management on projects.
• 10+ years in functional/operational roles; 3+ years in management.
• Fluent in English.
• Advanced MS Office skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads the configured systems procurement team for the project from Gate 2 through COD/Punch List Resolution.
• Acts as project manager for the sourcing scope of the project.
• Responsible for spare parts within scope for the project.
• Collaborates on establishing baseline project schedule (Commitment Meeting).
• Drives timely PO issuance and robust updates of PO tracking.
• Presents change management scenarios to support project level decisions.
