Job summary

Siemens Energy in Malaysia is seeking a Project Procurement Executive to integrate procurement within the PM@Siemens framework and oversee all project procurement activities. You will participate in project and sales meetings, establish sourcing controls, analyze bid inquiries, and support cost data calculations to drive value creation across international supplier networks.

This role requires a degree in Engineering/Procurement, 8 years Offshore & Marine experience, strong stakeholder

Qualifications

• Degree requirement in Engineering/Procurement/Supply Chain Management or equivalent.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Offshore & Marine business.
• Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Notable execution experience with suppliers in local and international markets.

Responsibilities

• Participates in project/sales meetings as core team member to influence early-stage decisions.
• Establishes sourcing processes and controls all procurement resources in the project.
• Analyses customer inquiries during bid phases to align suppliers with functional needs.
• Supports project calculation with reliable material cost data.
• Analyzes scope of supply and contracts, conducts risk analyses, and makes negotiation recommendations.
• Drives procurement strategies in projects and ensures implementation.
• Heads negotiations and supports specialists on material fields when needed.
• Compiles and reports procurement information for project controlling.
