Job summary

Hartalega NGC Sdn Bhd is seeking a seasoned production planning leader to align forecasts, capacity, and inventory across multiple lines to ensure on-time delivery and sustainable performance.

You will drive excellence by integrating production schedules with maintenance, procurement, and manpower plans, lead continuous improvement, and support new product introductions to strengthen competitiveness. This role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years in a managerial production-planning role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in related field required.
• Master’s Degree or professional certification is an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Formulate mid- to long-term production strategies balancing demand, capacity, and inventories.
• Direct and approve daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules.
• Lead cross-functional coordination with Maintenance, Procurement, Quality, and Engineering.
• Oversee changeover strategies and resource allocation across lines.
• Define and monitor production KPIs to identify risks and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Establish policies for manpower forecasting and deployment.
• Provide leadership in OTP and NI4 integration of new materials/products.
• Champion best practices in production planning and inventory management.
• Review training frameworks, SOPs, and compliance alignment.
• Represent Production Planning in management reviews and budget discussions.

Education

Bachelor’s Degree in any related field
