Advanced Energy in Malaysia's Penang region seeks a Senior Planning Manager to lead production, capacity, and material planning, ensuring on-time delivery and inventory optimization. You will drive scheduling, optimization, and continuous improvement across cross-functional teams, shaping strategies for growth.

The role requires 7–8 years in planning-related functions, SAP expertise, and APICS certification, with a track record of cross-functional project leadership in a high-mix environment.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of Production Planning, Master Scheduling, Capacity Planning, Inventory Management, and MRP.
• Demonstrated leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders.
• Proficiency in SAP ERP and MS Office; knowledge of Lean and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily production planning, master scheduling, and material planning.
• Align schedules with manufacturing capacity and material availability.
• Drive on-time delivery performance to meet customer commitments.
• Review and optimize production plans for efficiency and resource use.
• Oversee inventory management strategies balancing service levels and inventory investment.
• Lead recruitment, coaching, and development of planning staff.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Finance to resolve issues.
• Support S&OP and business forecasting processes.
