Job summary

HICOM-Teck See is seeking a Production Planning and Control Executive in Melaka to develop production schedules and manage stock levels for multiple models. The role requires forecasting, vendor coordination, and reporting to ensure timely production and delivery.

The candidate should have a degree and up to 1 year of related experience, with strong analytical and Excel skills to support continuous improvements in manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities

• Develops a production schedule detailing tasks with plan completion time to meet customer orders.
• Monitors and controls stock levels for respective models.
• Generates forecasts and processes purchase requisitions for raw materials from approved vendors.
• Uses lead-time data to ensure timely material receipt for production needs and verifies receipts.
• Monitors vendor performance and maintains strong supplier relationships.
• Builds relationships with key customers and suppliers for smooth operations.
• Identifies root causes of part shortages and implements permanent corrective actions.
• Prepares production achievement reports and communicates results.
