The successful candidate will typically hold a Diploma/Bachelor in Purchasing or related field, have at least 1 year of experience, and be fluent in Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Bachelor in Purchasing and Supply Chain Management (advantage).
• Minimum 1 year of purchasing or procurement experience.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Fluency in Mandarin preferred for Mandarin-speaking clients.
• Must have own ride.

Responsibilities

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers to obtain best pricing, quality, and delivery terms.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders (PO) and ensure timely procurement of goods and services.
• Conduct market research to identify new suppliers, products, and pricing trends.
• Follow up with suppliers on order status, delivery schedules, and resolve issues.
• Compare quotations, conduct cost analysis, and recommend suitable suppliers.
• Maintain purchasing records, supplier databases, contracts, and procurement documentation.
• Prepare purchasing reports, cost analysis, and procurement-related documents for management.
• Identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and supplier performance.
