Advanced Energy Industries (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a skilled Purchasing/Materials Planner to ensure on-time delivery, maintain inventory at reasonable levels, and support supply continuity.

The role involves monitoring supplier performance and driving improvements while coordinating with internal planning teams. You will negotiate RFQs and RFIs, build strong supplier relationships, and ensure compliance with quality, safety, and 5S policies.

Qualifikationen

• 3-5 years of experience in manufacturing and/or purchasing/planning.
• Familiar with SAP operations.
• Strong teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to adapt to changing conditions.
• Problem-solving and analytical mindset.

Aufgaben

• Review BRP reports and suggest orders or changes.
• Educate suppliers on performance metrics and improvements.
• Monitor supplier quality and delivery against defects and on-time goals.
• Develop knowledge of materials and sources for cost-effective purchases.
• Expedite for timely results and improvements with suppliers.
• Negotiate RFQ/RFI, contracts, and cost analyses.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal teams.
• Communicate via email/phone to resolve issues promptly.
• Keep inventory at reasonable levels through supplier negotiations.
• Adhere to quality, health & safety, and 5S policies.
• Maintain confidentiality of production/process information.
