Job summary

International Facility Engineering (M) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Procurement Manager to lead the commercial side of semiconductor and high-tech construction projects. You will drive procurement strategy, manage contracts, and coordinate with clients, contractors, and suppliers to deliver projects within budget and schedule.

You will oversee cost control, budgeting, forecasts, and risk mitigation while ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements across multiple sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, QS, SCM or related field.
• Minimum 10 years in commercial management in semiconductor, industrial construction, or high-tech building sectors.
• Extensive experience in contract negotiation, procurement, and cost management for large-scale projects.
• Proficiency in project management software and MS Office.

Responsibilities

• Implement the commercial strategy for each project, aligning with business goals.
• Support budgeting, ensuring accurate cost estimations and financial planning from inception to completion.
• Lead tendering, negotiations, and finalization of contracts including prime client contracts, subcontracts, and vendor agreements.
• Ensure compliance with contract terms and address potential risks or deviations.
• Oversee procurement for materials, subcontractors, and services ensuring high quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Analyze client requirements and align technical feedback within the team.
