Job summary

Private Advertiser is seeking a motivated Assistant Procurement Manager to lead the Procurement Team in overseeing end-to-end purchasing activities, supplier negotiations, and cost analyses to support production and projects.

The role requires 5–7 years of procurement experience with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity, strong leadership, and ISO 9001 familiarity. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and ERP proficiency are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5-7 years of procurement experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, supply chain management, and vendor negotiations.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering industries preferred.
• Good understanding of ISO 9001 procedures and compliance requirements.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage, motivate, and develop a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end procurement activities including sourcing, negotiation, PO issuance, and delivery monitoring.
• Develop and implement cost-saving and efficiency-focused procurement strategies.
• Build and maintain strong vendor relationships to ensure quality, pricing, and supply continuity.
• Oversee procurement reports, costing analysis, and supplier performance evaluations.
• Lead, guide, and develop the Procurement Team to ensure effective daily operations.
• Collaborate with Production, Engineering, Project, and Inventory teams to meet material needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, ISO standards, and audit requirements.
• Support management with procurement analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
