Job summary

NUH Travel & Tours Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking an HR Executive - Payroll & Compensation to manage the full payroll cycle, compensation and employee benefits in line with company policy and statutory requirements.

You will operate the Panda Payroll System, administer salary components, review attendance and earnings, and provide timely payslips and queries resolution. The role emphasises accuracy, competitive benefits design and support for talent attraction and retention in a dynamic market.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in HR, accounting, finance or related field
• Minimum 2 years in payroll, compensation or benefits
• Knowledge of Malaysia statutory requirements (KWSP, PERKESO, SIP, PCB/MTD)
• Proficient with Excel and Microsoft Office
• Strong numerical, analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Attention to detail and data confidentiality
• Good communication and teamwork
• Ability to work independently and with other departments

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly payroll for all employees ensuring salaries, allowances, deductions, claims and other payroll components are processed accurately and according to set schedules
• Update Panda Payroll System and maintain accurate salary components
• Review attendance records, leave, lateness, overtime, claims, commissions, allowances, deductions and other information affecting salary calculations
• Process changes related to employee salary and compensation including new employees, position confirmation, salary increases, promotions, position transfers, allowance changes, salary adjustments and terminations
• Manage calculation and processing of statutory contributions and deductions including KWSP, PERKESO, SIP, PCB/MTD
• Conduct monthly payroll reviews and reconciliation to ensure accuracy of salaries and compensation components
• Maintain records related to salaries and compensation components confidentially, and provide payroll reports for Management use
• Serve as a primary reference point for employees on salaries, payslips, and benefits, resolving issues appropriately
• Conduct periodic reviews of employee benefits offered by the Company and assess improvements
• Assist Management in evaluating and improving the Company's Compensation & Benefits structure
