Job summary

Esri Malaysia is seeking a Partner Business Development Manager to drive growth through strategic partnerships and alliances. The role focuses on developing partner programs, enablement frameworks, and sales strategies from planning through execution, collaborating with partners and internal teams to expand opportunities.

You will recruit and develop partners, lead partner marketing, and strengthen collaborations while guiding a small team toward meeting business targets and customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• 10 to 15 years of experience in IT channel sales with a proven track record.
• Proactive, results-driven, reliable, and able to work independently.
• Ability to manage partner business development activities including planning, sales programs, events, pipeline and performance management, contracts, and enablement.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills with strategic thinking and decision-making abilities.
• Minimum of 3 years of people management experience.

Responsibilities

• Build & Grow Partner Ecosystem: Recruit and develop VAPs and Alliance Partners to drive new business and revenue growth.
• Drive Partner Business Plans: Develop and execute partner strategies, track performance, and identify growth opportunities.
• Lead Partner Marketing: Plan and manage partner marketing programs, campaigns, pricing initiatives, and marketing funds.
• Enable & Strengthen Partnerships: Equip partners to promote, sell, implement, and support Esri Malaysia’s solutions while building strong relationships.
• Lead & Collaborate: Manage a small team and work with Enterprise Sales and internal teams to deliver objectives.
