Job summary

Heng Hup Metal Sdn Bhd is seeking a Marketing Executive to manage purchases of ferrous scrap metal, develop business with existing clients and prospect new ones in the Penang region.

The role involves visiting clients, gathering market intelligence, and maintaining meticulous records of buying, sourcing, and follow-up activities. Travel and driving are required; high performers may earn commissions beyond the base salary.

Qualifications

• Language requirements include Mandarin (preferred) and English/Bahasa Malaysia.
• Familiar with MS Office applications.
• Experience in scrap metal, steel industry is advantageous but not essential.
• Must possess a valid driving license and own transportation.
• Willingness to travel outstation when needed.

Responsibilities

• Purchase ferrous scrap metal based on company standards.
• Develop growth for existing accounts and prospect new ones in the region.
• Visit clients regularly and gather market intelligence.
• Maintain records of buying/sourcing and follow-up activities.
• Ensure smooth delivery of orders from supplier sites.
