Job summary

PT Suryacipta Swadaya in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Urban & Regional Planner to develop, review, and update the area masterplan, including land use, zoning, development parameters, and phasing.

You will manage the land bank, prepare land allocation proposals, and coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Legal, and authorities to ensure planning requirements align with regulations. A strong background in master planning and proficiency in AutoCAD are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Urban & Regional Planning, or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in master planning, urban planning, property development, or related fields.
• Strong knowledge of master planning, land use, land banking, land allocation, and spatial/development planning.
• Good understanding of zoning, development parameters, site planning, and applicable regulations.
• Proficient in AutoCAD; knowledge of GIS/QGIS and relevant planning software is preferred.
• Strong analytical, communication, coordination, problem-solving, and presentation skills; relevant professional certification is preferred.
• Placement: Subang, West Java.

Responsibilities

• Develop, review, and update the area masterplan, including land use, zoning, development parameters, and development phasing.
• Manage and monitor the land bank, including land availability, allocation, development status, and future development potential.
• Prepare land allocation and commercial/residential plot proposals based on business needs, market demand, development priorities, and infrastructure readiness.
• Prepare and review spatial, landscape, zoning, and development plans to ensure alignment with the approved masterplan and applicable regulations.
• Prepare planning studies, maps, reports, presentations, and spatial analyses to support development and management decisions.
• Maintain planning databases and spatial information related to land use, land bank, zoning, and development status.
• Coordinate with Planning, Engineering, Sales & Marketing, Legal, Land Acquisition, consultants, contractors, and relevant authorities to ensure planning requirements are properly implemented.
• Support the preparation of spatial and technical planning documents required for development permits and regulatory submissions.
