Job summary

MFS Technology (M) Sdn Bhd in Batu Berendam, Melaka seeks an experienced Master Planner to optimise production scheduling, capacity planning and supply chain coordination. You will develop master production plans aligned with demand forecasts and business goals to ensure on-time delivery and cost efficiency.

The role requires 5+ years in production planning within manufacturing, with ERP/PP tools proficiency and strong data analysis capabilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in production planning, master scheduling, or demand planning in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in ERP systems and advanced planning software (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with complex data sets.
• Solid understanding of lean principles and process optimisation techniques.
• Experience in forecasting, capacity planning and inventory management.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain master production schedules balancing demand with capacity and constraints.
• Conduct demand forecasting and analysis to anticipate production and risks.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and operations to align needs with capabilities.
• Optimise production sequences and resource allocation to minimise lead times and costs.
• Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to avoid excess stock.
• Analyze production performance metrics and recommend improvements.
• Manage capacity planning and identify constraints affecting schedules.
• Prepare and present planning reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with procedures and industry standards in planning activities.
• Coordinate with warehouse/logistics to ensure timely delivery to customers.
