Job summary

MFS Technology (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking a detail-oriented Material Planner to join our team in Batu Berendam, Melaka. This full-time role focuses on forecasting material needs, coordinating procurement, and ensuring smooth material flow across manufacturing and logistics operations.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor's in SCM or related field, with 2–4 years of material planning experience, strong ERP/MS Excel skills, and excellent analytical abilities.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in SCM, logistics or related field.
• Experience in material planning or procurement in manufacturing/logistics.
• Strong ERP and MS Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Develop accurate material demand forecasts based on production schedules and data.
• Coordinate procurement to ensure timely availability of materials.
• Monitor stock levels and optimise inventory control to reduce wastage.
• Analyse supplier performance and manage vendor relationships.
• Prepare MRP reports for management review and alignment with production.
• Collaborate with production, sales and logistics to meet operations needs.
• Identify improvements to enhance planning efficiency and accuracy.
