Job summary

Duro Metal Industrial (M) Sdn Bhd in Penang invites a dynamic Marketing and Business Development professional to identify new market opportunities, promote the company's products, and build lasting relationships with architects, engineers, consultants, and developers.

You will manage social media, plan campaigns and events, coordinate with internal teams, and prepare compelling marketing materials to increase project opportunities, market presence, and revenue.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of working experience in Specification, Marketing or technical sales.
• Diploma / Degree in Marketing, Business, Construction, Engineering, Architecture or related field.
• Strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop new market and business opportunities.
• Promote and secure product specifications with architects, engineers, consultants, and developers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and industry stakeholders.
• Identify and follow up on new projects and potential customers.
• Manage LinkedIn, Facebook, and other social media platforms.
• Plan and support marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities.
• Monitor market trends and competitor activities.
• Coordinate with internal teams, suppliers, and customers on project requirements.
• Prepare marketing materials, presentations, and project information.
• Support the Company's brand visibility, business growth, and revenue development.
• Monitor competitor activities, pricing, products, and market positioning.
• Maintain a database of projects, consultants, architects, customers, and business contacts.
• Prepare and conduct product presentations, technical briefings, and company presentations.
• Collect and maintain project photos, project references, testimonials, and marketing content.
• Support the preparation of quotations, proposals, tender documents, and presentations.
• Attend site visits, client meetings, exhibitions, seminars, networking events, and industry functions.
• Follow up on leads and enquiries generated through marketing activities and social media platforms.
