Job summary

Renesas Electronics (Malaysia) is seeking a Manufacturing Planner/Production Control professional to manage backlog and shipments, and to collaborate with production and engineering teams on capacity and workflow optimization.

The role emphasizes close coordination with shop floor personnel, suppliers, and internal departments to meet OTD and KPI targets, with exposure to test and marking activities and data-driven improvement initiatives.

Qualifications

• Degree or bachelor’s holder in business administration or related manufacturing field.
• 2+ years in Manufacturing Planner / Production Control preferred; fresh graduates considered.
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Test Capacity and OEE helpful.
• Strong coordination and teamwork with shop floor, suppliers and internal teams.
• Proficient in Excel (formulas), Power Apps/Query/Automate; BI tools are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee backlog and shipment planning to meet on‑time delivery and revenue targets.
• Coordinate with PG Planning on backlog schedules based on materials availability.
• Support manufacturing to meet test out plans and KPI goals.
• Engage with OSAT testing, MO and marking processes and backlog fulfilment.
• Track Test WIP and collaborate with planning, production and engineering for disposition.
• Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement initiatives.
