Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Penang is seeking a Manufacturing Planner/ Production Control professional to manage backlog and shipments, ensuring order-to-delivery timing and revenue plans. You will collaborate with planning, manufacturing, and OSAT teams to optimize flow and resolve capacity issues.

The role requires a degree in a related field, 2+ years of planning experience, and strong Excel skills; familiarity with Power BI and Power Apps is a plus.

Qualifications

• Degree or bachelor’s holder in Manufacturing environment and Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
• Preferred >2 years working experience as Manufacturing Planner/ Production Control. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Test Capacity and OEE are added advantages.
• Strong coordination and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with shop floor personnel, suppliers, and cross-functional internal departments.
• Soft skill: Excel - Basic formulas (VLOOKUP / XLOOKUP), Macro; Power Apps - Power Query, Power Automate, Power BI, Macro are an advantage

Responsibilities

• Backlog and shipment management to ensure meeting OTD and shipment revenue plan, liaise with PG Planning on backlog schedule base on material availability.
• Support manufacturing to meet all test out plan and KPI goals
• Hands on exposure to production planning shop floor operations and manufacturing workflow
• Support OSAT Testing, MO and Marking issuance and liaise with OSAT planners on Backlog shipment fulfilment.
• Test WIP management - track all the Test WIP closely and work with PG planning, production and engineering for disposition.
• Participate problem-solving, root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
