Job summary

VANQO SDN. BHD. in Port Klang, Selangor, seeks a driven Sales Executive to identify and secure new business in warehousing, storage and distribution. You will build strong client relationships and present compelling proposals, while coordinating with operations for seamless delivery.

With at least 2 years in sales or business development in warehousing/logistics, you will use communication and negotiation skills and MS Office to close deals and grow VANQO's market position.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a business development or sales role within the warehousing, logistics or packaging industries.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with clients.
• Proven track record of successfully identifying, negotiating and closing new business opportunities.
• Familiarity with industry trends, regulations and best practices.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
• A team player with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed.

Responsibilities

• Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities in the warehouse, logistics and packaging category
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with both existing and prospective clients
• Prepare and present compelling sales proposals and presentations to secure new business
• Collaborate with the operations team to ensure seamless delivery of services and an exceptional client experience
• Participate in industry events, conferences and networking activities to expand the company's market reach
• Contribute to the development and implementation of effective sales and marketing strategies
• Provide regular updates and performance reports to the management team
