Job summary

KPJ Selangor Specialist Hospital seeks a seasoned legal leader to head the Legal & Advisory team. You will oversee operational legal matters, provide strategic counsel, and ensure regulatory compliance across the group.

The role includes mentoring staff, drafting and negotiating key contracts, and liaising with external counsel on litigation strategy. You should have strong leadership, corporate law expertise, and the ability to drive governance and policy implementation across the hospital

Qualifications

Required LL.B or equivalent in related field.
Optional LL.M with specialization (Corporate/Commercial/International Law).
Optional Advanced Exec Programs / MBA for leadership exposure.

Responsibilities

Oversee and manage Legal & Advisory functions for operational matters.
Lead and mentor the legal team to foster collaboration and excellence.
Provide legal advice to ensure compliance with laws and governance requirements.
Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and other documents for operations.
Liaise with external parties and counsel on litigation and dispute strategy.
Monitor ongoing litigation and manage case portfolios.
Represent Group Legal & Advisory on relevant committees and prepare legal reports.
Collaborate cross-functionally to guide policies and procedures.
