Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking an Executive/Senior Executive, Business Development to support the Sales team in understanding customer requirements and translating them into IT infrastructure solutions.

You will learn quickly about new technologies, maintain customer accounts, and develop strategies to grow the client base while meeting monthly and annual sales targets. Occasional travel within the sales territory is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.
• Candidates currently working in IT Support, System Engineering, or other related technical roles who are interested in transitioning into a Sales role are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia, English, and Mandarin is required.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Sales team in understanding customers' business and technical requirements.
• Assist in translating customer requirements into suitable IT infrastructure solutions.
• Demonstrate the ability to learn quickly and understand new technologies, solutions, and market needs.
• Research and keep up to date with new IT technologies, products, and solutions.
• Develop and maintain new and existing sales accounts by providing excellent customer service, support, and timely responses.
• Develop strategies to expand and grow the customer base.
• Attend to sales enquiries, process orders, prepare quotations, respond to customer feedback, and participate in relevant meetings.
• Follow up on and monitor order progress to achieve monthly and annual sales targets.
• Develop sales strategies together with the team and superior based on past customer requirements and future market trends.
• Monitor stock levels and maintain monthly stock balance reports.
