Job summary

NPAworldwide in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an experienced HR leader to oversee payroll, compensation, benefits and staff relations. You will manage payroll accuracy, statutory contributions, and confidential employee records while guiding policy implementation.

The role requires 5+ years in HR, strong knowledge of Malaysian Labour Act, Mandarin and English fluency, and proven people-management skills. You will partner with department heads to drive performance, compliance, and employee development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, Business Admin, Psychology or related field (required)
• Minimum 5 years of HR experience, with at least 2 years in a managerial role
• Professional HR certification preferred (PHR/SPHR/SHRM)
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and labour laws
• Fluent in English and Mandarin; excellent communication & leadership

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly payroll processing and ensure timely salary payments
• Verify attendance, overtime, allowances, deductions, and payroll accuracy
• Coordinate statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) and maintain confidential records
• Manage compensation and benefits programs, salary structures, bonuses, and incentives
• Handle employee relations, grievances, misconduct, and disciplinary actions
• Lead HR system management, reporting, and data security; ensure compliance with policies
• Support performance management, KPI setting, and probation processes
• Develop, update, and enforce HR policies, SOPs, and handbooks
• Provide management with HR analytics and strategic recommendations
