Job summary

Uchida MK Sdn Bhd, based in Shah Alam, seeks an experienced HR & Administration leader to oversee a ~100-employee workforce. You will drive end-to-end HR functions, payroll, and policy development while supporting production operations.

Ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years in HR/Admin with managerial experience in a manufacturing setting, plus strong knowledge of Malaysian labour law and ISO practices. Fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia is essential, Japanese knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HRM, Business Admin, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in HR & Admin with at least 3 years in a managerial role; manufacturing experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian Employment Act and Industrial Relations Act.

Responsibilities

• Lead HR and Administrative functions for ~100 employees.
• Oversee Talent Acquisition, foreign worker management, payroll, and compliance.
• Drive performance management, KPI setting, and ISO-aligned HR processes.
• Coordinate training, HRDF grants, and maintain ISO-compliant records.
• Manage office and factory facilities, asset management, and vendor relations.
• Support HSE initiatives and ISO 45001/14001 audits.
