Job summary

KPJ Healthcare Berhad seeks an experienced technology innovation professional to identify and pilot emerging healthcare technologies across KPJ hospitals. You will lead feasibility studies, coordinate POC projects, and ensure integration with HIS and hospital apps.

You will collaborate with clinicians, IT, operations, and vendors, manage pilots across multiple hospitals, document results, and support digital transformation programs.

Qualifications

• Degree and hands-on experience in technology implementation or digital innovation in healthcare.
• Minimum 5 years experience in technology implementation, digital innovation, or emerging technology development.
• Experience with AI solutions, digital health platforms, IoT, or healthcare tech innovations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Emerging technology scouting to identify AI, IoT, automation, digital health platforms and smart hospital innovations.
• Innovation pilot management: lead and coordinate POC and pilot projects in KPJ hospitals.
• Technology evaluation: assess feasibility, operational impact, and scalability before wider deployment.
• Collaborate with technology vendors, startups, research institutions, and innovation partners.
• Pilot implementation & testing: coordinate deployments, configuration, testing, and operational assessment.
• Integration with existing systems: ensure seamless integration with HIS and mobile apps.
• Support the execution of KPJ innovation initiatives and digital transformation programmes.
• Scale pilots to multiple hospitals across the KPJ network.
• Engage clinical teams, hospital management, and IT teams to ensure alignment.
• Research global digital health trends and benchmark innovations.
• Documentation & knowledge management: maintain records of pilot results and learnings.
• Project monitoring & reporting: track progress and report outcomes and risks.
• Ad-hoc innovation initiatives support.
