Job summary

The GMP Group in Malaysia is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager to drive growth in Display and Digital Signage Solutions. You will identify new opportunities, manage key accounts and tailor display solutions for corporate and commercial clients.

You will lead the full sales cycle—from prospecting and presenting solutions to negotiating and closing deals—while maintaining relationships and hitting targets. Travel for meetings and events may be required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, IT, Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years in Business Development, Sales or Key Account Management.
• Experience in display solutions, digital signage, LED/LCD, video walls or AV tech is a plus.
• Strong B2B sales and solution-selling experience.
• Proven track record in developing new accounts and achieving sales targets.

Responsibilities

• Identify and develop new business opportunities within the display and digital signage market.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, commercial customers, system integrators and business partners.
• Understand customers' requirements and recommend suitable display solutions.
• Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
• Develop new accounts while expanding existing relationships.
• Achieve assigned sales targets and BD KPIs.
• Prepare sales proposals, quotations, presentations and forecasts.
• Conduct client presentations and product demonstrations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.
• Monitor market trends and competitors; participate in events as needed.
