Job summary

Jora Malaysia seeks a visionary General Manager - Freight Forwarding to drive expansion and operational excellence across Malaysia. You will oversee four hubs—Penang, Johor, Port Klang, and KLIA—and report to the Managing Director, turning strategy into profitable logistics operations.

Lead 4 Branch Managers and a 10–12 person leadership team, ensure strict compliance with customs and trade regulations, and drive revenue growth, cost control, and service level excellence across Air and Ocean

Responsibilities

• Strategic leadership to grow Air and Ocean Freight across Malaysia.
• Multi-hub operations management across four hubs.
• Mentor 4 Branch Managers and a 10–12 person leadership team.
• P&L ownership, budgeting, pricing strategies, and profitability.
• Drive business development and revenue targets with key accounts.
• Ensure compliance with local and international trade laws.
• Report to Managing Director with strategic insights and forecasts.
