FAST SHEEP ECOMMERCE SDN BHD in Ipoh is seeking a procurement specialist to manage sourcing, price negotiations, and supplier relations for goods and packaging. The role focuses on optimizing costs while maintaining quality and timely delivery.

You will coordinate with suppliers, inspect shipments, monitor stock, and ensure smooth operations across the supply chain, with emphasis on China-sourced items and Mandarin communication.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in procurement or purchasing.
• Experience sourcing products from China and handling customs clearance is required.
• Inspect inventory/goods at warehouse.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and proactive follow-up abilities; self-motivated with strong time-management skills.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written Mandarin (essential for direct communication and coordination with China-based suppliers).

Responsibilities

• Negotiate competitive pricing, favorable payment terms, and commercial conditions with suppliers.
• Inspect incoming shipments to ensure items meet specifications.
• Monitor stock levels and identify shortages, excess inventory, and replenishment needs.
• Conduct market analysis and price comparisons to support cost-effective purchasing decisions.
• Assist with additional supply chain or operational duties as assigned by management.
