Job summary

Maybank is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead Finance Transformation initiatives across the Group. You will manage end-to-end delivery, collaborate with business stakeholders, technology teams, external vendors and consulting partners to implement finance transformation initiatives.

You will oversee workstreams such as Finance Systems Implementation, EPM, Finance Data Management, and Chart of Accounts Harmonisation, ensuring projects meet timelines, scope and budget while maintaining

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of project management experience.
• System implementation projects; and/or business process improvement or transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing cross-functional teams.
• Experience managing project schedules, risks and budgets.
• Experience presenting to senior management.
• Experience delivering Finance-related initiatives (advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Lead the planning, execution and delivery of Finance Transformation initiatives from initiation through implementation.
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, milestones and resource plans.
• Manage project scope, timelines, budget and quality to ensure successful delivery.
• Establish project governance and reporting mechanisms.
• Monitor project progress and proactively manage risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies.
• Coordinate project activities across business, technology and vendor teams.
• Work with Finance stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable project plans.
• Prepare status reports and Steering Committee materials and dashboards.
