Job summary

EPICON BERHAD is seeking a Finance Manager (Construction / Property Development) in Petaling Jaya to oversee all financial operations across projects and the group. You will drive budgeting, cost control, and financial reporting, reporting to senior management and providing strategic insights to sustain project profitability.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting with ACCA/CPA/CIMA or equivalent.
• 5-10 years in finance and accounting, with at least 3 years in a managerial capacity.
• Proven experience in construction or property development in Malaysia.
• Experience in a publicly listed company is advantageous.
• In-depth knowledge of MFRS, particularly MFRS 15.
• Strong expertise in project costing, cash flow management, and corporate taxation.
• Proficient in using ERP systems; experience with construction-specific accounting software is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full spectrum of financial and management accounting functions for the company and subsidiaries.
• Ensure timely and accurate financial statements in compliance with MFRS and the Companies Act 2016.
• Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.
• Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures to safeguard assets.
• Lead project costing, budgeting, cash flow forecasts, and treasury for construction projects.
• Ensure tax compliance including corporate income tax, SST, and withholding tax.
• Provide strategic financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
