Job summary

The role requires experience in senior financial management within construction/M&E/property, exposure to IPO listing processes, and ability to communicate in Mandarin for coordinating with Mandarin-speaking contractors.

Qualifications

• Possess professional certifications such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or MIA.
• Experience as a senior financial management role within the construction/M&E/property industry.
• Experience in public listed company/ IPO listing process.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin due to business needs with Mandarin-speaking contractors.

We are representing our client an M&E service provider specialising in electrical serices, extra low voltage system, fire protection system, air cond & mechanical ventilation. Our client is currently looking for experience candidates from the construction/property/M&E industry to fill the Financial Controller position to be based in Ipoh, Perak.

• Location: Ipoh, Perak

Main Responsibilities:

• To develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards
• To provide leadership, direction and management of the finance and accounting team
• To offer strategic recommendations to the CEO and members of the executive management team
• To manage financial forecasting and budgeting processes, and overseeing the preparation of all financial reports
• To advise on long-term business and financial planning
• To provide commercial insight and leadership across the business in order to exceed business plan targets
• To ensure the risk and compliance management framework is embedded and operational for the Group
• To establish and develop relations with senior management and external partners and stakeholders

Requirements:

• Possess professional certificate such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA, MIA etc.
