Job summary

Qualifications

• Proven working experience as a Financial Controller.
• Degree in Finance & Accounting; CPA/CMA beneficial.
• 10+ years of accounting/finance experience.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team; under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly financial statements and quarterly reporting package for the parent company.
• Provide monthly/quarterly financial information to the parent company.
• Develop, analyze and interpret statistics to assess profitability and performance vs forecast/budget.
• Manage cash and cash planning in coordination with the parent treasury department.
• Prepare reports on income, expenses and earnings for past, present and future operations; report to parent company monthly, quarterly and annually.
• Coordinate budget and forecasts; maintain planning and control procedures and cost accounting.
• Tax planning and compliance with all applicable taxes at federal/state/local levels.
• Ensure compliance with local laws and corporate accounting policies.
• Evaluate insurance coverage and oversee IT department operations.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned.
