Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience, preferably in a managerial role.
• Professional qualifications (ACCA, CPA, CIMA, or equivalent) are an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and financial regulations.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel).
• Excellent analytical, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills in Bahasa Malaysia and English, Mandarin helpful for diverse client base.

Responsibilities

• Oversee full set of accounts including AP, AR, GL, and month-end/year-end closing.
• Prepare accurate monthly financial statements, management reports, and analyses.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow planning.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Coordinate audits, tax submissions, and liaise with auditors, bankers, and tax agents.
• Monitor financial performance, identify risks, and implement cost control measures.
• Supervise and guide the accounts/finance team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
• Implement and improve accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls.
• Support management in financial decision-making and strategic planning.
