Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a qualified Finance & Accounts professional to oversee internal controls, budgeting, reporting, and tax functions for the group.

You will consolidate budgets with offshore subsidiaries, manage taxation matters including SST/GST, and coordinate with external auditors. Degree in accounting/finance and ACCA/CPA preferred; minimum 5 years' experience, with audit firm background advantageous.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field; professional qualification such as ACCA or CPA would be an added advantage.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant working experience.
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail; meticulous and well-organized.
• Independent, proactive, and a self-starter.
• Experience in audit firms will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Oversee internal controls, accounting, reporting, budgeting, audit, and tax functions.
• Review accounting reports for consolidation at Group level and consolidate budgets with subsidiaries.
• Manage taxation matters including indirect taxes and coordinate with tax agents.
• Coordinate with subsidiaries to compile annual budgets and present consolidated budgets to senior management.
• Oversee credit control processes and liaise with legal counsel on recovery matters.
