Job summary

Randstad Malaysia, partnering with a top-tier professional services and business advisory firm, seeks a Group Finance Manager in Kuala Lumpur. This hands-on role focuses on elevating group consolidation, financial reporting, and internal controls to support rapid growth.

You will lead and develop the finance team, bridge leadership gaps, and drive efficiency across the reporting cycle, delivering timely statutory and management reporting with commercial insight.

Qualifications

• Approximately 10 years of relevant, progressive experience in finance and accounting.
• Hands-on experience in complex group consolidation and financial reporting.
• Proven leadership and people-management capabilities.
• Degree in Accounting or Finance; professional qualifications (ACCA/CPA/ICAEW/MICPA/MIA) preferred.
• Strong communication and commercial mindset to influence stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Group Consolidation & Reporting: own end-to-end group consolidation; enhance statutory and management reporting for the group.
• Strategic Leadership: bridge leadership gaps and foster a high-performance finance culture.
• Team Development: mentor and develop the finance team to optimise efficiency and technical skills.
• Finance Operations: oversee day-to-day finance functions with strong internal controls and compliance.
• Process Optimization: identify pain points in the reporting cycle and implement improvements.
