Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking a capable accountant to manage full-spectrum accounting and financial reporting to support business operations and executive decision-making. You will oversee general ledger, AP/AR, and bank reconciliations, while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

You will also handle daily sales reconciliation, month-end close, and variance analysis, along with statutory compliance and local tax filings.

Qualifications

Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline.
Minimum 3 years of experience managing full sets of accounts.
Strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory reporting, and local tax regulations.
Proficiency in accounting software systems and Advanced Microsoft Excel.
Strong analytical capabilities with sound detail orientation and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
Manage daily sales reconciliation and POS system reporting against physical cash counts.
Perform month-end closing activities, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
Ensure statutory compliance, corporate tax submissions, and local tax filings.
Maintain internal control procedures and optimize accounting workflows for operational efficiency.
