Job summary

Tecobar Smartpower Solution Sdn Bhd in Penang seeks a seasoned Finance Manager to oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting, from statutory reporting to month-end close.

You will partner with TECO headquarters, lead budgeting and forecasting, and drive internal controls, cost analysis, and process improvements while ensuring compliance with Malaysian tax and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting; ACCA/CPA adds advantage.
• Minimum 5–8 years of experience in finance and accounting with exposure to full set of accounts and financial reporting.
• Strong knowledge of Malaysian accounting standards, taxation, and compliance.
• Experience in manufacturing or engineering environment preferred.
• Proficient in Chinese and English to liaise with HQ and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Oversee AP, AR, GL with proper controls and accurate record-keeping.
• Prepare financial statements, management reports, and cash flow forecasts.
• Collaborate with TECO headquarters to align with operational plans and strategic goals.
• Support process improvements and cross-department coordination to enhance efficiency.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and authorities.
• Monitor financial performance and provide actionable insights to management.
• Assist in budgeting and forecasting processes and track performance vs targets.
