Job summary

TESS INTERNATIONAL is seeking an experienced and commercially minded Manager to lead our Finance & Accounting function in Malaysia. The role oversees financial operations, management reporting, planning, accounting, cash flow, compliance and internal controls, partnering with management to drive strategic decisions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, business or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Finance & Accounting with managerial or leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting, management reporting, budgeting, cash flow and financial controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee day-to-day Finance & Accounting operations.
• Ensure timely and accurate preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts.
• Prepare financial reports, analysis and presentations for Management.
• Monitor financial performance against budgets, forecasts and business objectives.
• Provide meaningful financial insights, trends and recommendations to Management.
• Lead the annual budgeting and financial planning process.
• Monitor the Company's cash flow, liquidity and working capital position.
• Ensure proper maintenance of accounting records and financial documentation.
• Ensure compliance with applicable Malaysian accounting, tax and statutory requirements.
• Lead, mentor and develop the Finance & Accounting team.
