Job summary

You will strengthen internal controls, drive process improvements, mentor the local finance team, and collaborate with regional stakeholders to support business objectives. The role is based in Selangor, Petaling Jaya.

Qualifications

• Must have degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
• 6–8 years in financial reporting, audits, or finance management with leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards and statutory/regulatory requirements.
• Experience coordinating audits and regional reporting is a plus.
• Proven leadership and people development skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly financial reporting and timeliness of management reports.
• Manage statutory reporting, regulatory filings and compliance.
• Coordinate external audits and liaise with auditors, tax consultants, and corporate secretarial service providers.
• Align local statutory reporting with regional/group requirements.
• Strengthen internal controls and financial governance.
• Drive process improvements for reporting accuracy and month-end close.
• Support regional finance projects and standardisation across Southeast Asia.
• Lead and mentor the local finance team.
• Collaborate with regional and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Perform other finance-related projects and ad-hoc duties.
