Job summary

Mega City Builder Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah is seeking an experienced Event Manager to plan, organise and execute a wide range of events that support the company’s marketing and communications objectives.

This full-time role requires at least 1 year of event management experience, strong project management skills, excellent communication, and the ability to lead coordinators and collaborate with vendors to ensure successful events.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in event management.
• Experience planning and executing events from workshops to conferences.
• Strong project management skills with multitasking and tight deadlines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Proficient in using event management software and tools.
• Creative problem-solving and keen eye for detail.
• Familiarity with Kota Kinabalu Sabah local event industry and regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive event plans, including budgeting, scheduling, and logistics management.
• Liaise with vendors, venues, and stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of events.
• Coordinate and oversee all event-related activities, such as registration, catering, and audiovisual requirements.
• Monitor event budgets and ensure efficient use of resources.
• Evaluate the success of events and provide recommendations for future improvements.
• Collaborate with the marketing and communications team to align events with the company's brand and messaging.
• Manage a team of event coordinators and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed.
