Job summary

UEM Edgenta Berhad in Kuala Lumpur seeks an experienced Employment Relations professional to manage end-to-end investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances and employee disputes with fair, compliant outcomes. You will liaise with regulatory authorities and unions, drive IR policy compliance, and guide HR and leaders on conflicts and disciplinary decisions.

The role emphasizes training and governance to strengthen employee relations across the business.

• Experience in Industrial Relations/Employee Relations
• Ability to coach HR colleagues
• Knowledge of employment law and governance standards

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end investigations, disciplinary actions, grievances and employee disputes with fair, consistent and legally compliant outcomes.
• Represent the organisation in employment-related cases with regulatory authorities, tribunals and external stakeholders.
• Drive compliance with industrial relations policies, procedures, employment laws and governance standards.
• Partner with HR and business leaders to guide on employee relations, workplace conflicts and disciplinary decisions.
• Support union engagements, collective agreement implementation, consultations and negotiations.
• Develop tools, guidelines and training to strengthen employee relations capability across the business.
• Monitor IR trends, analyse workforce risks and provide actionable insights to improve workplace practices.
